At the University of Iowa Intermedia Workshop we were challenged to make artworks on the topic of Translation or Uberzetsung (in german) for a collaborative exhibition with a group of German artists.
I chose to translate several elements of the Periodic Table.
I used the atomic mass (as a unique integer) to generate a tone and a hue.
