TORNADO SIREN… PLEASE – 2000

One of my first solo multi camera shots. I skipped class that night because I had nothing to present to the class. I got the idea that I would present something, instead to myself and four cameras.

This is a live camera in which I am switching the video feeds with my foot and controlling the cameras zoom with a remote control in my pocket. I added sound and animation in post production.

The act of presenting ones work and then scoring your own success / failure, in a range of criteria that nobody else is privy to, is a regular occurrence for all people. That is how we grow as humans. Publishing our findings on our success and failures is a little more rare. We are not supposed to brag, and we are not interested in seeming needy of peoples attention. In this video I decided to self evaluate and make public my opinion of my work and then try to make that evaluation the most interesting part of the work.

this video seems to be missing the first scene that starts with a sunflower – ill try to upload the full vid as soon as i find it
